In this tutorial, you have a chance to learn how to create photo gallery in flash 8 with no Action Script. You will also learn how to Import picture into a Flash, how to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol, how to use Blur filter and more.



Step 1

Create a new flash document, choose Modify > Document (Ctrl+J) and set Width to 300 and Height to 225px. Frame rate set to 30fps (Frames per Second).



Step 2


Download my pictures.

Step 3

Choose File > Import > Import to Stage, and import the first picture.

Step 4

While your picture is still selected, open tha Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and then click on Align to stage icon, after that on Align horizontal center and Align vertical center icon, to precisely center your picture with background.



Step 5

Press Ctrl+A and then F8 key to convert that picture into a Movie Clip.



Step 6

Click on frame 10 and press F6 (Keyframe). Go back on the first frame, take the Free Transform Tool (Q) and decrease the picture maximal, like it is shown on the picture below.



Step 7

While your picture is still selcted, in Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) click on Filters > plus icon and choose Blur. Then, set the options from the picture below.



Step 8

Click on the first frame and in Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) under Tween choose Motion. After that, click on frame 30 and press F6 key. See the picture below.



Step 9

Click on frame 45 and press again F6 key. Then, take the Free Transform Tool (Q) and decrease the picture maximal, like we have done in step 6. After that repeat step 7.

Step 10

Go back on frame 30, and in Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) under Tween choose Motion.




Step 11

Insert a new layer, click on frame 30 and press F6 key (Keyframe). Then, import another picture and convert it into a Movie Clip.

Step 12

Click on frame 40 and press F6 key on the keyboard.

Step 13

Go back on frame 30 and repeat steps 6 and 7.

Step 14

While you're still on frame 30, in Properties Panel, under Tween choose Motion.

Step 15

Then, click on frame 60 and press F6 key.



We're done for the first two pictures. Repeat this steps for all other pictures in your galery.
