Twinkle picture effect

In this easy tutorial made for Flash 8 or Flash MX 2004 you will see how to create twinkle picture effect with no Action Script.



Step 1

Open a new Flash document, choose File > Import > Import to Stage, and Import any picture in Flash. Then,go to the Align panel . If it isn't opened already, just select Window > Align or press Ctrl+K to open it. While the image is still selected, do the following in the Align panel: Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on, Click on the Align horizontal center button and Click the Align vertical center button. See the picture below.



Step 2

After that, while the picture is still selected, press F8 key (or select Modify > Convert to Symbol ) to convert this image into a Graphic symbol.



Step 3

Take the Selection Tool (V), click once on the picture to select it and open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3). On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Brightness and for Brightness Amount choose 40%. See the picture below.



Step 4

Press F6 key fiftheen times.



Step 5

Click on every second frame, take the Selection Tool (V), click once on the picture to select it, open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3), for color choose Brightness, and for Brightness Amount choose
-40%. See the picture below.



Step 6

Press Ctrl+J key (Document Properties), and for Frame rate set 110fps (Frames per Second).




Test your Movie (Ctrl+Enter).
