Black shine animation

In this lesson made for Flash 8, I will show you how to create very attractive shine animation using some special flash tips and tricks. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. You will also learn:
1. How to Import any picture into a flash. 2. How to aligned it with the background, 3. How to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol. 4. How to apply some special flash effects on it and much more!
Step 1
First of all, save my picture below.

Step 2
Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the dimensions of your document as the dimensions of photo (250x333px). Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 40 and click ok.
Step 3
Choose file > Import > Import to stage (Shortcut key: Ctrl+R) and import my picture into a flash stage.
Step 4
While the picture is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:
1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on, 2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and 3. Click the Align vertical center button.

Step 5
While the picture is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this picture into a Movie Clip Symbol.

Step 6
Double click on layer 1 to rename its name in picture. Afte that, click on frame 40, 110 and 140 and press F6 key.
Step 7
While you're still on frame 140, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the picture to select it. After that, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage.On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Advanced on it, click on Settings button set the following options and click ok.

Step 8
Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 110 and frame 140 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.See the picture below.

Step 9
Go back on the first frame and repeat the previouse step.
Step 10
Create a new layer above the layer picture and name it shine.
Step 11
Select the shine layer, take the Line Tool (N) and go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Then, choose the following options:
1 Enter #FFFFFF for the stroke color. 2. Select Solid as the type of outline, with the line thickness set to 1.

The, draw this shape:

Step 12
Take the Piant Bucket Tool (K), select white as color and fill the shape that we just created.
Step 13
Select now the shape and press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this shape into a Movie Clip Symbol. See the picture below.

Step 14
Double-click on the movie clip on stage with the Selection tool (V).You should now be inside the movie clip.

Step 15
While the shape is still selected, press again F8 key to convert this shape again into a Movie Clip Symbol.

Step 16
Click on frame 15 and after that on frame 30 and press F6 key.

Step 17
While you're still on frame 30, take the Free Transform Tool (Q) and decrease shape a lot. See the picture below.

Step 18
Repeat the previous step also for the first frame.
Step 19
Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and 15 and frame 15 and 30 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.See the picture below.
Step 20
Click on frame 15 and double-click on the movie clip (shape) on stage with the Selection tool (V). See the picture below.

Step 21
While the shape is still selected, press again F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this shape again into a Movie Clip Symbol.
Step 22
Click on frame 50 and press F6 key.
Step 23
Go back on frame 1 and go to the Properties Panel below the stage. Select Motion from the Tween menu, and for Rotate set CW. See the picture below.
Step 24
Click again on frame 1 and press Ctrl+C key (Copy).
Step 25
Create a new layer above the layer 1 (layer 2), click on frame 1 and press Ctrl+Shift+V key (Paste in Place).
Step 26
Click on frame 25 and after that on frame 50 and press F6 key.
Step 27
Go back on the first frame of layer 2 and go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Select Motion from the Tween menu, for Rotate set CCW and for Ease set -63%. See the picture below.
Step 28
Click on frame 25 and go again to the Properties Panel below the stage. Select again Motion from the Tween menu and for Rotate set CW.
Step 29
Go back on the previous scene.
Step 30
Then. click on frame 90 and press F5 key.
Step 31
Go back on the main scene (Scene 1) and place the shape on this position.

Step 32
While the shape is still selected, press Ctrl+C key on the keyboard (Copy) and after that, Ctrl+V key (paste). After that, select the new shape that we just copide and place it on this position on the picture.
