Attractive and advanced fashion presentation

Using this thoroughly explained, detailed lesson, you will see how to create very attractive and modern fashion presentation using some special flash tips and tricks. You can use this presentation as any banner, flash header, for any fashion web site... To create this presentation, you don't have to use action script code. All you need is just a little patience! You will also learn:

1. How to import any picture into a flash library,
2. How to apply flash 8 filters on any picture,
3. How to convert any layer into a mask layer,
4. How to use Brush Tool (B) and much more!



Step 1

First of all, save my pictures below, which we have to use for this example.







Step 2


Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 430 pixels and the height to 300 pixels (as the dimensions of picture). Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 32 and click ok. See the picture below.



Step 3

Choose File > Import > Import to Library. In the file explorer window that appears, find a two pictures (picture1 and picture2) and Shift-click to select them all.Then click open. If you now open your flash library (Ctrl+L key) you will see a two pictures that you just imported. See the picture below.



Step 4

Double click on layer 1 to rename its name into a picture 1. After that, take the Selection Tool (V) and using the drag and drop technique, move the first picture from the Library on the stage.

Step 5

While the picture is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.



After that, while the picture is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this picture into a Movie Clip Symbol.



Step 6

Click now on frame 30 and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 30, press F6 key four times.

Step 7

Go back now on the first frame, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the picture to select it. After that, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage.On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Advanced on it, click on Settings button set the following options and click ok.



Do this also for frame 26 and frame 28.

Step 8

Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and frame 25 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.See the picture below.



Step 9

Click now on frame 200 and press F6 key.

Step 10

Create a new layer above the layer picture 1 and name it picture 2.

Step 11

Click now on frame 35 of layer picture 2 and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 35, take again the Selection Tool (V) and move the second picture (picture2) from the Library on the stage and place it on this position:



Step 12

After that, while the picture is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this second picture (picture 2) into a Movie Clip Symbol.



Step 13

Click now on frame 45 and press F6 key.

Step 14

Go back on frame 35 and repeat step 7.

Step 15

Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 35 and frame 45 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

Step 16

Create a new layer above the layer picture 2 and name it mask.

Step 17

Click on frame 35 of layer mask and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 35, take the Brush Tool (B), for brush size choose maximum and draw this:



Step 18

Press now F6 key and draw another brush line below the first line. See the picture below.



Finally, you have to get this:





Step 19

Select mask area layer and convert it to a mask by right-clicking on the mask area layer and selecting Mask. See the picture below.



Step 20

Go back now on layer picture 2 and click on frame 80 and 85 and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 85, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the picture to select it. After that, Select Filters tab from the left side. Click after that on the plus icon and select the Glow filter. Make the adjustments as follows:

1. Blur X and Y : 42
2. Color: orange
2. Quality : Low



Now you have this:



Step 21

Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 80 and frame 85 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

Step 22

Select now frame 85 again and press F6 key six times.



Step 23

Select now frame 86 and repeat step 19. Do this also for frame 88 and 90.

Step 24

Click now on frame 150 and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 150, press F6 key five times.

Step 25

Go back on frame 151, take the Selection Tool (V) again and click once on the picture to select it. Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Tint in it and make the adjustments as follows:



Do this also for frame 153.

Step 26

Click now on frame 160 and press F6 key.

Step 27

While you're still on frame 160, move the picture a little left using the mouse or by arrows keys. See the picture below.



Step 28

Right-click now anywhere on the gray area between frame 155 and frame 160 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

Step 29

Go back again on frame 160 and press F6 key five times.

Step 30

Select now frame 161, take the Selection Tool (V) again and click once on the picture to select it. Then, repeat step 24, but for this time for Tint color choose white. Do this also for frame 164.

Step 31

Click now on frame 200 and press F6 key.

We're done with presentation. You can also, if you like, import some sound into a this animation to make it more powerful.
