Fantastic boom boom text effect

In this, step by step tutorial, you will see how to create cool and modern boom boom text effect. You can use this effect for any text banner, for some presentation. You also don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. This tutorial is so easy for create, but in the same time so attractive. Let's go!



Step 1

Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the dimensions of your document as whatever you like. Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 38 and click ok.



Step 2


Take the Text Tool (A) now and type any text on the flash stage.

Step 3

While the text is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this text into a Movie Clip.



Step 4

After that, press F6 key then times on the keyboard. See the picture below!



Step 5

Go back now on frame 2 and move you text a little up using the arrows key or by mouse. After that, select frame 3 and move your text a little down. Repeat this process until you don't came to frame 10.

Step 6

Go back now on frame 1 and press Ctrl+C key (Copy) on the keyboard. After that, create a new layer above the layer 1 (layer 2). Then, move that layer below the layer 1 using the Selection Tool (V). See the picture below!



Step 7

Select now the first frame of layer 2 and press Ctrl+Shift+V key (Paste in Place).

Step 8

Take now the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the text (Movie Clip) to select it. Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Alpha in it and put it down to 47%.



Step 9

Click now on frame 5 and 10 and press F6 key.

Step 10

Go back now on frame 5, take the Free Transform Tool (Q) and do like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 11

Then, select frame 10, take the Free Transform Tool (Q) again and do this:

Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and 5 and frame 5 and 10 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.



Step 13

Create now a new layer above the layer 2 (layer 3). Then, go back on the first frame of layer 2 and press Ctrl+C key (Copy).

Step 14

Select now frame 1 of layer 3 and press Ctrl+Shift+V key (Paste in Place). Then, click on frame 5 and 10 of layer 3 and press F6 key.

Step 15

While you're still on frame 10, repeat step 10.

Step 16

Go back now on frame 5 and repeat step 11.

Step 17

Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and 5 and frame 5 and 10 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

Now, we're done!
