Advanced new audi a3 button with url

Using this detailed, thoroughly explained lesson, you will see how to create very modern, Glow flash button with url. For this example I will use a picture of new audi a3. To create this lesson, you have to use action script code and glow flash filter. You can use this button for some flash menu, for any web site. You will also learn how to import an image into a flash, how to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol, how to use instance name and more.



Step 1

Open a new flash document.



Step 2


Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the dimensions of your document as whaterver you like. Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 30 and click ok. See the picture below!



Step 3

Find any image and import it (Shortcut key: Ctrl+R) into a flash stage. You can also if you like, save my picture of new audi a3 below!



Step 4

While the picture is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.



Step 5

While the picture is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this photo into a Movie Clip Symbol.



Step 6

While the picture (new made movie clip) is still, still selected, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the left side, You will find the Instance name input field there. Call this Movie Clip picture_mc.



Step 7

Double-click on the movie clip on stage with the Selection tool(V).You should now be inside the Movie Clip.



Step 8

While the picture is still selected, press again F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this picture again into a Movie Clip Symbol.



Step 9

Click now on frame 15 and press F6 key. While you’re still on frame 15, take the Selection Tool (V), and click once on the picture to select it. Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Then, select Filters tab from the left side. Click after that on the plus icon and select the Glow filter. Make the adjustments as follows:



Now, you get this:



Step 10

Right-click anywhere on the gray area between the two keyframes on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.



Step 11

Go back on the main scene (Scene 1).

Step 12

Then, take the Selection Tool (V) again and click once on the picture to select it. Then, go to the Action Script Panel (F9), and enter the following action script code inside the actions panel:

on (rollOver) {
_root.mouse_over_picture_mc = true;
} on (rollOut) {
_root.mouse_over_picture_mc = fstartlse;
}

on (release){
getURL("http://www.toxiclab.org/");
}

Step 13

Create a new layer above the layer 1 and name it action.

Step 14

Click on the first frame of layer action and go again to the Action Script Panel. Then, enter this code inside the actions panel:

if (mouse_over_picture_mc) {
_root.picture_mc.nextFrame();
} else {
_root.picture_mc.prevFrame();
}
};
