New Mercedes CLS presentation using the AS

See this step by step lesson and learn how to create simple Mercedes CLS presentation, using the action script code. You can use this lesson for some flash header, banner...



Step 1

Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 399 pixels and the height to 282 pixels (as the dimensions of picture). Select white as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 8 and click ok.



Step 2


Save now a picture of new Mercedes CLS below!



Step 3

Choose now File > Import > Import to Stage and import a picture of new Mercedes CLS into a flash stage!

Step 4

While the picture is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.

Step 5

Double click on layer 1 with the Selection Tool (V) to rename its name into a background. After that, create a new layer above the background layer and name it text.

Step 6

Take now the Text Tool (A), for font color choose white and type "MERCEDES CLS". See the picture below!



Step 7

While the text is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this text into a Movie Clip Symbol.



Step 8

While the new made Movie Clip (text) is still selected, go to the Action Script Panel (F9) below the stage and enter the following action script code inside the actions panel:

onClipEvent(enterFrame)
{
_alpha=random(100);
_x=_x=random(399);
_y=_y=random(282);
}

Step 9

Take the Selection Tool (V), select the text, and press few times Ctrl+D key (Duplicate) to duplicate this text few times. After that, place it all around. See the picture below.



Now, we're done!
