New Alfa Romeo Mito animation using a gradient

See this simple and quickly lesson and learn how to create very simple Alfa Romeo Mito animation using a Color Mixer Panel and gradient. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. You can use this lesson for some flash header, banner...



Step 1

Firs of all, save a picture of Alfa Romeo Mito below!



Step 2

Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 450 pixels and the height to 220 pixels. Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 18 and click ok.



Step 3

Choose now, file > Import > Import to stage (Shortcut key: Ctrl+R) and import a photo into a flash stage!

Step 4

While the photo is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.



Step 5

Click now on frame 50 and press F5 key.

Step 6

Take the Selection Tool (V) and click twice on the layer 1 to change his name in photo. After that, create a new layer above the layer photo and name it gradient.

Step 7

Select Gradient layer, take the Rectangle Tool (R), for Fill Color choose any color, for Stroke Color choose No color and draw a Rectangle about 1000x220px. Then, place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 8

Then, go to the Color Mixer Panel (Shift+F9) and choose the following options:

Click now on frame 25 and press F6 key. After that, go again to the Color Mixer Panel (Shift+F9) and choose the following options:



Step 10

Click now on frame 50 and press F6 key. Afte that, place a rectangle on the position like it is shwon on the picture below!



Step 11

Then, go to the Color Mixer Panel (Shift+F9) again and choose the following optins:



Step 12

Take now the Selection Tool (V) and select layer gradient. Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the left, you will see a tween drop down menu. Select Shape on it.



Now, test your Movie and enjoy!
