Read this thoroughly explained, detailed flash lesson and see how to create funny flash animation using some special flash tricks. You can use this animation as flash banner, for some presentation or for some web site. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. Using this lesson, you will also learn how to import any photos into a flash library, how to convert any photo into a movie clip symbol, how to animate it, apply flash filters on it and much much more.
Example:
Step 1First of all,
download funny photos which we will use for this flash animation.
Step 2Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 350 pixels and the height to 295 pixels. Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 34 and click ok.
Step 3Call the current layer photo 1. Double-click on its default name (Layer 1) to change it. Press Enter once you have typed in the new name!
Step 4Choose File > Import > Import to Library. In the file explorer window that appears, find three photos (1,2..) and Shift-click to select them all. Then click open. If you now open your flash library (Ctrl+L key) you will see three photos that you just imported. See the picture below!
Step 5Select the Selection Tool (V) and using the drag and drop technique move the first photo from the flash library on the flash stage.
Step 6While the photo is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:
1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.
Step 7While the photo is still selected, hit F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol.
Step 8Click now on frame 20,60 and 80 and hit F6 key.
Step 9While you're still on frame 80, select the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the photo to select it. Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the left side select the Filters tab. Then, click on the plus icon and select the Adjust Color filter. Make the adjustments as follows:
Step 10Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 60 and 80 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.
Step 11Click now on frame 66 and hit F6 key. While you're still on frame 66, hit again F6 key four times.
Step 12Go back now on frame 66 and move photo a little up using the Selection Tool (V) or by arrows key on the keyboard.
Step 13Select now frame 67 and move photo a little down. After that, select frame 68 and 69 and move photo a little right and left.
Step 14Go back on the first frame and repeat step 9.
Step 15Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and 20 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.
Step 16Select now frame 7 and hit F6 key. After that, while you're still on frame 7, hit F6 key again four times.
Step 17Repeat now steps 11,12 and 13.
