Read this thoroughly explained, detailed flash lesson and see how to create movie text banner using some special flash tips and tricks. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. You can use this text banner for any web banner some animation or presentation. Using this lesson, you will also learn how to convert any text into a movie clip symbol, how to animate it and much more. Let's start!
Example:
Step 1
First, save the photo below that we will use for this lesson as background.

Step 2
Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 450 pixels and the height to 337 pixels. Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 32 and click ok.
Step 3
Call the current layer background. Double-click on its default name (Layer 1) to change it. Press Enter once you have typed in the new name!
Step 4
Choose now File > Import > Import to stage (Ctrl+R) and import a photo that you just saved in step 1 into a flash stage. While the photo is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:
1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on, 2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and 3. Click the Align vertical center button.

Step 5
Click on frame 100 of layer background and hit F5 key.
Step 6
Create a new layer above the layer background and name it text.
Step 7
Select the Text Tool (A) and go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Then, choose the following options:
1. Select a Static Text field, 2. Select Zurich BlkEx BT as font. 3. Choose 36 as font size and bold it. 4. Select #CEE6F0 as color, 5. As the rendering option, select Use Anti-alias for readability.

Then, type SUPERMAN on the flash stage like it is shown on the picture below!

Step 8
While the text is still selected, hit F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol.

Step 9
Click now on frame 10,90 and 100 and hit F6 key.
Step 10
While you're still on frame 100, select the Free Transform Tool (Q) and do like it is shown on the picture below!

Step 11
After that, while you're still on frame 100, select the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the text to select it. Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. After that, select Filters tab from the left side. Click after that on the plus icon and select the Blur filter. Make the adjustments as follows:

Go back on the first frame and repeat the previouse two steps.
Step 13
Select again the first frame and go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Then, make the adjustments as follows:

Select frame 90 and repeat the previouse step!
Step 15
It's time for another text, so create a new layer above the layer text and name it text 1.
Step 16
Click on frame 10 of layer text 1 and hit F6 key.
Step 17
While you're still on frame 10, select the Text Tool (A) and go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Then, choose the following options:
1. Select a Static Text field, 2. Select Zurich BlkEx BT as font. 3. Choose 19 as font size and bold it. 4. Select #CEE6F0 as color, 5. As the rendering option, select Use Anti-alias for readability.
Step 18
After that, type RETURNS on the position like it is shown on the picture below!

Step 19
While the text is still selected, hit F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol.

Step 20
Click now on frame 20, 75 and 85 and hit F6 key.
Step 21
While you're still on frame 85, move the text a little up like it is shown on the picture below!

Step 22
After that, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Alpha in it and put it down to 0%.

Step 23
Go back on frame 10 and repeat the previouse step.
Step 24
Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 10 and 20 and frame 75 and 85 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.
