Pencil sketch

In this tutorial we will show you how to convert a photo in the pencil sketch.

Step 1

Open your photo in Adobe Photoshop.





Step 2

Right click on Background layer and choose "Duplicate layer"



Step 3

Now, we'll convert a new made layer in black and white.
For this we'll use a shortcut CTRL+Shift+U



Step 4

Now we will dupicate a copy of Background layer like it is shown in previous step

Step 5

Click on a new made layer and press Ctrl+I to cretate the invert, and after that set layer mode on color dodge.



Step 6

Now, we will add a Gaussian blur filter (Filter - Blur - Gaussinan blur...) on that layer with a radius of 2.0px and if necessarily decrease opacity a little. (play with opacity until you get a result that suits you)
